Facilities managers, vendors and service providers that gathered in Charlotte, North Carolina, last week for the National Facilities Management and Technology Tradeshow had multiple days of learning sessions, peer discussions and demonstrations to help them improve how they operate building systems.
The NFMT East 2026 conference and expo looked at how technology is rapidly working its way through the built environment. It’s enabling teams to do more with less and diagnose problems more quickly, changing how building professionals plan, implement and track operations. Even with these changes, communication remains paramount, in part because the facilities management space is playing a more central role in organizations’ operational objectives and business goals.
